drees supports clients on a wide range of matters, including UK business setup for domestic and overseas entrepreneurs, VAT planning, HMRC incentive schemes such as SEIS/EIS, R&D tax relief, and Enterprise Management Incentives (EMI). He has significant experience handling HMRC enquiries and investigations, including COP8 and COP9 cases, where his deep technical understanding and measured approach ensure robust and effective representation.

Yawer is an ATT-qualified Tax Technician with a First-Class BSc (Hons) in Accounting and Finance. Yawer speaks fluent Italian.

With a strong academic foundation and hands-on technical experience, Yawer supports clients across a wide range of tax matters, including property income, capital gains, landlord structures, and property-related reliefs. Her experience spans year-end accounts preparation, VAT compliance, and Making Tax Digital (MTD) requirements, supported by advanced proficiency across cloud accounting platforms including Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, and FreeAgent. Priyasha also manages software migrations, conducts cloud health checks, and integrates connected apps and automation tools to streamline workflows and strengthen financial operations.

At Elixir, Priyasha plays a pivotal role in helping small and growing businesses modernise their finance functions. Habeeb is an experienced Business Development Manager who drives Elixir’s growth through strong client relationships, strategic market development, and proactive lead generation. With a background in sales, market expansion, and customer engagement, he focuses on identifying new opportunities and strengthening Elixir’s presence across key sectors.

He has previously delivered growth strategies, built long-term client networks, and managed international portfolios, including work connecting UK, Middle East and West African markets. Known for his communication skills and goal-focused approach, Habeeb ensures prospective clients receive a seamless, professional experience from first contact through onboarding.

Maqsood Ali is an engineer from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) with extensive experience spanning technical, operational, and leadership roles across global organisations. His career includes key positions at multinational companies where he progressed from field operations to senior management, gaining deep expertise in process optimisation, technology integration, and data-driven decision-making.

Before joining Elixir, Maqsood served as Business Leader for a freight company, where he successfully led an operational turnaround through the implementation of lean processes and strategic pricing models that improved efficiency and profitability.

An engineer by training and a strategist by instinct, Maqsood approaches every challenge by breaking down complex processes and reimagining them to be leaner, smarter, and more efficient. His strong foundation in IT and data systems allows him to act as a bridge between management and technical teams, translating strategic business goals into actionable technology and process solutions.

Tanaka Tabassum holds a PhD in Management from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) and serves as Director of Operations at Elixir, where she leads initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, business performance, and sustainable growth. She combines academic depth with practical leadership to optimise internal processes, strengthen client delivery, and drive innovation across the firm’s service lines.

Tanaka also acts as a consultant in climate change, carbon credits, and ESG reporting. She supports businesses in developing transparent, data-backed sustainability strategies that align with evolving global standards and environmental goals.
